Rocky 99 - WRKW - FM 99.1 - Ebensburg, PA

Changed the format from two years ago. More nostalgic music. Nothing wrong with yesterdays rock, but there are great new bands that this city won't hear from this station.

So, they changed the format once again. Nothing wrong with old school rock, however, how can rock continue to stay if the current bands aren't being played or heard.

This station has turned into such a joke, its not even funny. Its mostly syndicated now, the music downright sucks, the same songs over and over and over again. Hosts are as boring as watching paint dry. They got rid of the Homegrown Rocker, so they could care less about local artists. And if you listen carefully, they just play the same feed as 104.9 in Altoona, the only difference is that the audio is a few seconds off. Wish we had a real rock station around here, at least I have DVE to listen to.

That morning show is awful! As for the station itself, I wish they played a larger variety of songs from the artists and bands. One might be led to believe everyone was a one-hit-wonder. They claim a "Big ol' ton of tunes", but it must be a scheduled delivery because it's always the same thing every day.

I like this station as long as it is later in the day, the music is a good mix. The morning talk show is awful. I don't know why this station started playing the morning talk show, what makes anyone think that people want to listen to these people?
