My name is Tom Allison and I am in San Antonio, Texas, retired now from 38 years in the radio-Tv broadcasting industry. In 1967, 53 years ago, I had a recorded morning radio show on then WLBC AM and was staff announcer and also was TV news anchor at 6 and 11 Perhaps many, if not all, who were there Glenmore at that time are no longer there. i have, in my past books and memorabilia, the radio patch and several photos taken on the news set with co-host Andy Rent, who along with twin brother Al Rent, were also staff announcers. The TV weather girl was Judy May. Station owners at that time were James Burton and Bill Craig. With the call letters then, the common talk was "We Love Burton and Craig." It would be nice, although not possible at this time, to return and visit to see what changes have been made. At that time, large photos of the TV staff were posted in the hall outside the control room. I have my photo as a keepsake. The radio playlist then was adult contemporary.
