This comment, is directed at Fitzroy Gordon, owner of G98.7 F.M. If your radio station cannot promote, the interests of the black community, wholeheartedly, then you also should not expect, to get the support of our community. Our young people are our future and when your radio station do not support them, (like the recent refusal of G98.7 F.M, to support an African Canadian, beauty contestant finalist, in the Miss Universe/Canada pageant, recently, by refusing to have her come on your radio show, to promote the event) A young college student, who would have also used her nomination in the pageant, to promote the interest of the black community, (by potentially becoming the first African Canadian to win the title), then you also do not deserve the support of the black community. Simply for trying to destroy the dreams, of our young people, who are our future. You may want to get rid of Wayne Williams, Program Director, whose decision it was not to have the beauty contestant, come on your radio show. We don't need radio show host like him, representing our community. And whose support your radio station cannot also do without. Why should the Black community, also, continue to support a radio station like yours, which doesn't support our young people?. We also do not intend to continue, to support, radio stations like yours, G98.7 F.M. Unless, your radio station also supports us.
