I love Sunday nights from 6-8 with latin jazz and salsa. Great music. I've also listen sometimes during the day and was very happy with the diversity of the music. Keep it up.

Hi Barbara! Thank you for your inquiry. I have just been introduced to WPFW by the Barb of Earl in Maryland. I have enjoyed listening to the your station. I have listened to Robin's Place and the Andrea Bray Show. This past Saturday she featured "Women in Jazz", it was outstanding. I also enjoy the Blue Light in the Basement segment with the "Old School" slow drag. I would like to have Gene Chandler's "Duke of Earl" played on the Andrea Bray Show. Your sharing of your music and information are a breath of fresh air in what is often a smoggy atmosphere co-contaminated with a din of often and shallow and non-empowering broadcasting that more entertaining than informative.

I love the station. I am 3,000 miles away and tune in every Saturday. Outstanding playlist and super interviews. I also enjoy the occasional gospel to keep me grounded.

It is the only jazz station in Washington, but just barely. There are at least four latin music stations here and none play jazz. why do we need latino music? Love Caribbeana, zydeco, Blues and classic jazz. Music is the reason that I donate.
